China launches investigation into U.S. sorghum imports

Anti-dumping and anti-subsidy investigation threatens to scale-back imports of U.S. sorghum exports.

In the wake of President Donald Trump’s steep tariffs places on solar panels and washing machines and a probe into Chinese dumping of aluminum into the U.S., China hit back with an anti-dumping and anti-subsidy investigation into imports of sorghum from the United States. China’s Ministry of Commerce made the announcement on Sunday.
