Burger King plans to launch a plant-based version of its popular Whopper nationwide by the end of this year, following a successful test period. The company began testing the Impossible Whopper at 59 restaurants in and around St. Louis, Mo., beginning April 1 and will expand to more markets before making the sandwich available nationwide. Burger King currently has more than 7,000 locations in the U.S.
