BioZyme announces partnership in France, Portugal, Spain

BioZyme Inc. announced that WIKI Group is its newest international partner and will provide Amaferm and AO-Ferm to its customers throughout France, Portugal and Spain. Product will be made available via the warehouse located in Girona, Spain.

“I am very happy with the addition of WIKI as our distribution partner, as it is not very common to find partners that can equally serve different countries,” said Volker Altenbokum, director of international business development for BioZyme. “These three countries have long been provided with Amaferm through Provimi, and we are happy to serve existing and future customers via WIKI. It was important to us that we could guarantee continued and immediate supply to these accounts and to count on an experienced team to bring Amaferm to the next level.”

The key staff members at WIKI have been thoroughly trained about Amaferm and its advantages as a precision-based prebiotic that affects intake, digestion and absorption. In addition, they have strong business partnerships across the three countries. WIKI chief executive officer Jesús Herrero is from Spain but has worked and lived in France for many years. Ana Carolina Mejía, business manager, has a long history in international sales of feed additives, as does recent hire Enrique Fabian.

“BioZyme’s products are the perfect addition to our feed additives portfolio, and we are convinced of the opportunities we see in our territory. The BioZyme team has been very helpful already, and we are making quick progress in short time,” Herrero said.

Altenbokum added, “We are convinced that the market knowledge of WIKI and our great products are the base for mutual success in these very important European markets. We are excited to move forward with WIKI to continue to provide Amaferm to our customers across this area.”
