BASF increases prices for vitamin E

BASF announced March 10 that it is globally increasing prices for its vitamin E products by 20%, effective immediately.

“The price adjustment is in response to the significantly higher costs for energy, raw materials and logistics,” the company said in the announcement.

The company’s portfolio comprises six segments: Chemicals, Materials, Industrial Solutions, Surface Technologies, Nutrition & Care and Agricultural Solutions. BASF generated sales of €78.6 billion in 2021.
