Ag secretary nominee Perdue's final paperwork sent to Senate

Perdue will have to divest business ventures and resign positions before becoming secretary of USDA.

Another major hurdle was cleared for the approval of nominee Sonny Perdue for secretary of agriculture. After weeks of a presumed holdup on his paperwork, a Senate Agriculture Committee spokeswoman confirmed that the committee had received all of the necessary paperwork.
