Ag, food groups urge full Senate vote on USTR

Coalition says confirmation of USTR is "essential step" in enabling U.S. government to put teams in place to engage in NAFTA negotiations.

A total of 138 food and agriculture trade associations and companies working collectively through the diverse and broad-based U.S. Food & Agriculture Dialogue for Trade urged the Senate to expeditiously vote to confirm Robert Lighthizer as U.S. trade representative (USTR).
