Dr. Theresia Lavergne has joined the Natural Biologics team to serve as technical service lead. In this newly developed position, Dr. Lavergne will work closely with the sales teams to identify product applications at the farm level. “Natural Biologics is excited to expand the service and expertise we offer to our customers and deliver this level of advanced technical support,” said Dr. Charlie Elrod, co-founder and chief executive officer of Natural Biologics. “Theresia brings a wealth of poultry experience, as well as a drive to improve animal health and productivity. She will work with our sales team and our new product development team as we expand our offerings in the monogastric, ruminant and companion animal arenas.”

"Natural Biologics has a history of innovative approaches and a unique vision for the poultry space," noted Lavergne. "I'm excited to join the Natural Biologics team and be a part of this mission to identify natural and sustainable ways to raise our animals and feed the world."

Dr. Lavergne earned a bachelor’s degree in animal and dairy sciences from Auburn University, a master’s degree from Mississippi State and her Ph.D. from Louisiana State University in non-ruminant nutrition.
