Whole turkey prices remain above 2018 levels

Upward price trend since beginning of 2019 suggests normal seasonal price pattern may be returning.

Wholesale turkey prices are still low relative to pre-2018 levels, but U.S. Department of Agriculture economists Kim Ha and Alex Melton said the upward price trend since the beginning of 2019 suggests a possible return to the seasonal price patterns once typical in the turkey market.
