Total pork in cold storage as of June 30, 2020, was 464.4 million lb., a sharp 25% decline from the same time last year, the latest U.S. Department of Agriculture’s “Cold Storage” report revealed. While beef in cold storage rose by 6% from June 2019 to 428.1 million lb., total red meat in freezers was 12% lower than June 2019 but 1% higher than last month.
