Canada's Minister of Agriculture & Agri-Food Marie-Claude Bibeau announced July 3 that the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) and the European Commission's Department of Health & Food Safety have agreed to an African swine fever (ASF) zoning arrangement to allow for the safe trade of swine products from disease-free zones in the event of an ASF outbreak.
