Canada, China reach agreement on chilled beef, pork

Canadian beef exports previously had been limited to frozen boneless beef.

Canadian Cattlemen’s Assn. (CCA) vice president David Haywood-Farmer traveled this week to Beijing, China, with Canada's Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and international trade minister François-Philippe Champagne as some long-awaited and very welcome news for Canadian beef and pork producers was delivered.
