RoTa Technologies has launched a collaboration with NABEL Co., a leader in manufacturing of egg grading and packing equipment in the Asian poultry market. RoTa Technologies is now the exclusive U.S. distributor of NABEL equipment.

The partnership debuted at the 2023 PEAK poultry trade show in Minneapolis, Minn., with the sale of NABEL’s new Sakura 100 egg packer as the first piece of NABEL equipment sold in the U.S.

“Our growing team of service engineers takes pride in servicing egg processing equipment, but also giving advice on ways to process eggs more efficiently,” said RoTa Technologies President Roberto Taormina. “Innovation and R&D has been an important part of RoTa Technologies’ growth over the past few years. We are excited to work with NABEL and bring more reliable products to our customers.”

NABEL offers a unique way of egg handling with a “no egg-to-egg contact” system to benefit U.S. egg grading customers and improve the quality of the product and increase profits for the producer.

“Conveyor belts will be needed when a NABEL packer and egg grader is installed. RoTa Technologies also specializes in customized conveyor solutions. Projects are easier when dealing with fewer vendors, and service can be provided by one company now for multiple areas of the processing floor,” Taormina said.

In addition to sales, RoTa Technologies will provide service and spare parts for NABEL in the U.S.
