Balchem to increase choline chloride price

Balchem Corp. announced Dec. 26 that it will increase the price of animal feed and industrial grades of choline chloride in North America by 2.5 cents/lb. ($50 per ton).

Balchem said prices for choline chloride in Europe will increase by €0.048/kg (€48 per metric ton).

These prices will become effective on Jan. 1, 2019, or as contract terms permit. Balchem said this increase is driven by the continuing escalation of operating costs, and customers should contact their Balchem sales representative for more details.
