2024 Feedstuffs Feed Ingredient Analysis Table

Hugo Camacho and Ryan Schnell join Sales and Technical Services team.

Aviagen Turkeys has announced two appointments to its Sales and Technical Services team. Hugo Camacho joins as senior technical service representative and Ryan Schnell joins as sales and technical service representative.
“We're proud that Hugo and Ryan have joined the team. Their caliber and commitment to the turkey industry brings value to our company and our customers around the world,” the company said.
Aviagen Turkeys said Camacho brings a tremendous depth of experience to the team. After graduating as an agronomist engineer, he began his career in the poultry industry in Chile. For 23 years he rose through the ranks, managing turkey breeders, hatcheries, commercial farms and finally directing all of the livestock operation. Since 2016, Camacho has been providing technical support for turkey companies in South and Central America, Spain, France, and Italy.
His experience in breeders and commercial turkeys as well his passion for data analytics and customer support is a great asset to our group. He also has significant international experienced, and his English, Spanish, Portuguese and French language skills will bring increased value to our global customer base.
Also joining the team is Ryan Schnell, who brings over 23 years of experience in turkey production to the team. He grew up on his family’s turkey farm in Indiana, where he developed an interest in turkeys and the industry at an early age. This background led him to Perdue University where he earned his bachelor’s degree in animal agribusiness.
Schnell started his career with Farbest Farms as live production supervisor. He then went on to manage his family’s farm then took the role of poultry production manager for River View Farms, a diversified agricultural business involved in hog, turkey, egg, pullet, and crop production in Orleans, Indiana. Most recently, he served as a senior sales representative for Purina Animal Nutrition.
“We have worked with Ryan for many years and have always appreciated his talent for brooding and raising turkeys,” Aviagen said. “Ryan’s extensive hands-on experience in all aspects of turkey live production is an excellent addition to our group.”
