Feedstuffs will be hosting a one-hour webinar on a hidden threat to poultry performance. That hidden threat is peptidoglycans (PGNs), which affect the gastrointestinal functionality of birds.

During the Dec. 12 webinar, Dr. Michael Kogut of the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Agricultural Research Service will share his knowledge and research on PGNs and how they can negatively affect nutrient uptake and digestibility, thus harming poultry feed conversion.

In addition, DSM experts will share their global research on PGNs and insight into new technology that helps break down PGNs to improve poultry performance and producer profitability.
