José Luis Muñoz Orozco is the newest member of the poultry team at Novus International Inc. Muñoz joined the team in June to provide strategic development of key accounts in Mexico.

Muñoz offers customers in Mexico more than 12 years of experience in the animal nutrition industry, where his focus has been on how nutrition and feed additives can improve production efficiency and gut health while being conscientious of environmental sustainability.

“Along with supporting customers my interest in animal agriculture is centered around a concern for a more sustainable future,” Muñoz said. “We urgently need to produce a greater amount of nutritious food with better technologies and with greater efficiency for a rapidly growing population. I’m proud to help make that happen.”

Novus Executive Regional Sales Manager for Latin America North Eduardo Molina said Muñoz’s dedication to the industry and professional background make him well-suited to support poultry customers in Mexico.

“José represents the future of Novus,” said Molina. “He has the skills and knowledge of the avian business in Mexico and understands the needs and growing plans of the customers along with the market tendencies to approach them the best possible way.”

Prior to joining Novus, Muñoz served as business development manager at IFF Danisco and technical/project manager at DSM. He holds master’s degrees in veterinary medicine and zootechnics, and health sciences and animal production from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México.
