Minnie Ward joins Feedworks Lytes electrolyte products team as technical calf specialist.

Feedworks USA Ltd. announced that Minnie Ward has joined its Feedworks Lytes team full time as a technical calf specialist. Since January 2024, Ward has been part of the team that launched the Feedworks Lytes family of scientifically formulated electrolyte products. Ward’s new full-time status marks a successful year of product launch activities.
“We are honored to have Minnie join us full time,” said Malcolm Ballard, partner at Feedworks USA. “Minnie clearly knows calves and brings a powerful combination of on-farm practicality and calf-rearing expertise to our team and the dairy farms and calf ranches we serve. Minnie was instrumental in the launch of our Feedworks Lytes family of electrolyte products and has had a positive impact on our business overall.”
Growing up on a dairy farm, Ward discovered that working with calves was a true passion. Prior to joining Feedworks USA, Ward was a nutritionist for Land O’Lakes Feed, a calf and heifer specialist for Sci-Tech and Form-A-Feed and a Midwest sales representative for Calf Star, where she focused on selling calf feeding equipment. She has also served as a herdsperson on large dairies and owned a private calf consulting business.
Ward currently owns and operates a custom calf raising facility with her husband and two daughters.
“I’m thrilled to join Feedworks full time now after a year of consulting. We achieved so much success with Feedworks Lytes, and I’m excited to continue to help producers use our electrolyte products to combat dehydration and maximize performance,” Ward said.
