This week's Feed Additive Focus, brought to you by Glowlit, takes a look at the latest price changes in Vitamin E50 and Vitamin C 99%.

Vitamin E50 is seeing the impact of supplier consolidation. Even in this quiet market, some producers are unable to meet their demand, causing them to source material from outside their production. Only time will tell if the current increases in price are driven more by increases in demand or decrease in supply. The global price of Vitamin E50 currently sits at $9.35/kg.

The price of Vitamin C 99% continues to decrease from its COVID-19 peak. In the U.S., the supplement industry continues to drive high demand for Vitamin C, increasing prices specifically for that market. Scheduled plans for summer maintenance are leading producers to build inventory that will cover the down period, and new producers are expected to enter the market before the end of this year. The global price of Vitamin C 99% currently sits at $4.80/kg.
