Farmers can benefit by shifting food expenditures

Dr. Brandon McFadden, assistant professor of applied economics and statistics with the University of Delaware, talked about why farmers need to work to capture a greater share of the food dollar and how that might be possible.

Other topics he addressed were that of niche production, labeling and trade.

McFadden was a speaker at the 2019 Bayer Forum in Orlando, Fla.
