Brad Barr spent his career in the feed and grain industry.

Chapin Bradley "Brad" Barr, 83, of Stockton, CA, passed away May 9. He was born on Dec. 26, 1940, in Kansas City, MO.
Barr attended Kansas State University and Columbia Pacific University. He was a proud Veteran, serving in The United States Marine Corp Reserves.
He went on to have a successful career in the grain and feed industry.
Barr started working for his father, Bradley Barr at his Kansas City based feed ingredient business Bradley Barr & Company (now known as Bill Barr & Company). From there, he went to work for Stauffer Chemical Company and was transferred to California. He met and worked for Jim Loughlin at Wiliam C. Loughlin & Company, eventually owning the company for more than 30 years. Brad was a longtime member of both AFIA and the California Grain & Feed Association, and proudly served as President of CGFA in 1997. He will be remembered for his hard work, friendship, kindness, and talents as the Scottish Auctioneer by his colleagues, friends and family.
A celebration of life will be held Sept. 20 at the Lafayette Veterans Memorial Building in Lafayette, CA.
