Ceradis B.V., a global developer and marketer of environmentally friendly plant nutrition and crop protection solutions, announced the appointment of Lon Kreger as its new sales and marketing leader. Kreger will succeed Jan Stechmann.

Kreger, a high-impact leader with 16 years of experience, will oversee strategic sales and marketing initiatives to accelerate innovation, growth and profitability for the company. His focus will include expanding market share, enhancing distributor and retail engagement and driving grower adoption of Ceradis’ rapidly growing portfolio of bio-solutions.

Stechmann has been a key contributor to Ceradis, driving significant growth in the company’s global footprint and fostering partnerships that have expanded the reach of its innovative products. Kreger’s appointment marks a new chapter for Ceradis, which continues to invest in groundbreaking solutions that help growers address the challenges of modern agriculture while reducing environmental impact.

Currently, Ceradis manufactures and distributes a portfolio of solutions, including CeraMax biological seed treatment, which is registered for use in the U.S. and Brazil. Kreger will immediately assume responsibility for the company’s market expansion strategy for CeraMax while also working closely with distributor and retailer partners to increase product awareness, education and sales.

Previously, Kreger served as the international business development leader for NewLeaf Symbiotics. Before that, he was chief commercial officer for MagrowTec. Kreger has also held domestic and international business development roles with Heliae Development, Loveland Products and Arysta Life Sciences.

Commenting on his new role, Kreger said, “I have admired Ceradis and its innovative technologies for many years and am honored to have been chosen to lead in this role as the company embarks on the next exciting phase of its journey.”

Kreger holds a bachelor degree in marketing and economics from Brigham Young University and an MBA from Whitman School of Management at Syracuse University. He resides in Blackfoot, Ida.
