Company hires Dr. Emily Collin and Jacob Alsdurf to join the team.

Cambridge Technologies, an animal health company offering next generation diagnostics and custom vaccines, is pleased to announce the addition of Dr. Emily Collin and Jacob Alsdurf.
Dr. Collin whose background is in classical virology, earned her doctorate from South Dakota State University and brings with her over 15 years of experience in the animal health industry. Dr. Collin has spent the last five years at Ceva Animal Health in the Scientific Services and Investigation Unit (SSIU) working on swine and poultry virology. Prior to working at Ceva, she was employed by Newport Laboratories, where she spent 10 years learning the industry. Filling the role of research and development and diagnostics manager, Collin will coordinate efforts at the research and diagnostics labs in Worthington, Minn.
Jacob Alsdurf holds a master’s degree in integrative genomics from Black Hills State University and is finishing another master’s at Kansas State University. He spent the last three years at Ceva Animal Health as a scientist in the Scientific Services and Investigation Unit working on swine and poultry genomic sequencing and bioinformatics. As a molecular biologist, Alsdurf will focus on sequencing, assembling, and characterizing the genomes of bacteria and viruses for clients of Cambridge Technologies.
