BioZyme Inc. recently announced its newest AO-Biotics distribution partner, Bergophor GmbH, with headquarters in Kulmbach, Germany. For 75 years, Bergophor has been connecting best practices and future-oriented creativity to the highest possible standard. It will distribute AO-Biotics products throughout Germany, Austria and Poland.

“We are looking forward to the partnership with BioZyme to distribute products that increase the productivity and animal wellbeing,” said Jürgen Brönneke, Bergophor’s chief executive officer. “It is important to our company and customers to provide modern, long-term concepts for successful animal nutrition.”

AO-Biotics Amaferm is a prebiotic research-proven to enhance digestibility. Amaferm is the initial product of the AO-Biotics portfolio. These products derive from BioZyme’s innovative fermentation of Aspergillus oryzae (AO) to promote resilience. AO-Biotics is the evolution of BioZyme’s 70 years of Aspergillus oryzae fermentation expertise, allowing us to offer products that enhance animal resilience.

AO-Biotics EQE is the first-and-only AO postbiotic developed specifically for layers. It is the newest product in the AO-Biotics line. It is research-proven to produce more sellable eggs, improve egg mass and increase productive life span.

“We are very excited about the transition to Bergophor as our new distribution partner. With ‘care that comes full circle’ at the core of everything we do, their commitment to research and finding innovative products for animals is a perfect fit,” said Cesar Ocasio, Ph.D., senior manager of business development and innovation at BioZyme. “We are honored to partner with a progressive company that has a storied background promoting our products in Germany and Austria.”

BioZyme, a global leader in AO fermentation, has been in business for more than 70 years. With headquarters in St. Joseph, Missouri, BioZyme reaches a market of customers throughout North America, South America, Asia, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and the Indian Subcontinent.
