Barentz expands animal nutrition sales team

Brian Esters and Laura Bolinger join company as account managers.

Barentz, a leading global distributor of life science ingredients throughout North America, is excited to welcome Brian Esters as a new poultry national account manager and Laura Bolinger as a new account manager covering animal nutrition customers in the Central & Southern Plains region.

Esters brings to Barentz an extensive sales and management background in the poultry market in roles such as poultry account manager, live production manager, and broiler manager at prominent companies such as Arm and Hammer, Quality Technology International, Biozyme Inc, Tyson Foods, Georges Inc., and OK Farms. In addition to Brian’s experience managing large teams (over 100+ members), he has more than 18 years of live production experience in broilers, broiler breeders, and feed milling.

Besides earning a bachelor’s degree in agriculture from the University of Arkansas, Esters is PACCO Certified and is a former board member of The Poultry Federation, as well as past vice chairman of the Arkansas Poultry Improvement Committee.

Laura Bolinger brings to Barentz more than two decades of sales, marketing, and leadership experience in the livestock, dairy, and agriculture industry in roles such as ruminant specialty solutions product manager, dairy specialty solutions technical manager, key account manager, and dairy herd manager. She is also founder of the Purple Power Animal Nutrition show supplement company specializing in feed additives for beef, dairy, swine, sheep, goat, and equine performance animals. Laura has an MBA from Indiana University, as well as a master’s degree in agriculture economics from Purdue University, and a bachelor’s degree in animal science from Michigan State University.
