Axiota Animal Health, a global company focused on developing products to help cattle thrive during transition and stress, announced additions to their sales, technical and pipeline development teams to support business growth.

Gene Gengelbach, Ph.D., brings a wealth of nutrition expertise to his new role as dairy technical services manager. He joins the company after nearly 30 years as a nutritionist with Agri-King, Pioneer and ADM. Gengelbach brings a forward-thinking approach to find new solutions to old problems. He is based in Kansas and will provide technical assistance to Axiota’s customers and sales team and manage dairy research.

Braden Troyer, Ph.D., joins Axiota as feedlot technical services manager. Troyer recently received his doctorate from the University of Nebraska where he studied ruminant nutrition and was the research coordinator for the Feedlot Group. Troyer is based in Nebraska and will oversee research and provide technical support to Axiota’s feedlot customers and the sales team.

Favian Garcia joins Axiota as a technical sales representative in the newly created dairy territory serving Idaho. Garcia grew up on a dairy and is a graduate of Washington State University. He is bilingual and provides a strong animal nutrition knowledge base and skills to work with all team members on a dairy.

Kevin Nalette is a recent addition to the Axiota team as the director of the MS Biotec supply chain. He will assume additional responsibilities of program management and pipeline development. Nalette is a retired U.S. Air Force Colonel with more than 25 years of experience and a comprehensive background in project management. He is based at Axiota’s MS Biotec Technology Center in Wamego, Kansas.

J. Free, chief commercial officer, United States, said, “Axiota’s business and sales of Multimin 90 and Lactipro are growing significantly and our team is expanding to support that growth. Gene, Braden and Favian are excellent additions to Axiota and we’re looking forward to their positive contributions to our team and the industry. In addition, we have a robust pipeline and we’re pleased to have Kevin and his skill set to oversee pipeline development.”

Leander van der Walt, chief commercial officer of Axiota International and Business Development, is pleased to announce two additions to the international team.

Marcello Guadagnini, D.V.M., has joined Axiota as the international technical manager. Guadagnini is a veterinarian specializing in dairy and is based in Italy. He will provide technical support to the international sales team, with particular focus on the launch of Multimin 90 in Canada and Brazil and supporting growth in Europe.

Jack understands the Canadian market and has deep practical experience that will benefit our customers and distributor partners. Both are excellent additions to our international team,” said van der Walt.
