The American Dairy Science Assn. (ADSA) has selected Catharine Kuber Perry as its new executive director. Perry, who currently serves as vice president of member programs and services of the Global Cold Chain Alliance (GCCA), will start work at ADSA on April 13.
“Catharine’s strategic, collaborative and member-focused mindset will be a tremendous asset to ADSA as it serves as the voice of science for the global dairy industry,” ADSA president Rafael Jimenez-Flores said. “Her proven experience at GCCA, combined with her rich background in the dairy industry, will take ADSA to new levels.”
Before joining GCCA, Perry worked for the Animal Agriculture Alliance and the National FFA Organization. In her home state of California, Perry served as the state FFA president, representing the organization at agriculture industry events.
Perry holds a bachelor of science degree in agricultural economics from Purdue University.
“I have a strong connection to the dairy industry, and the opportunity to work with ADSA and combine that passion with my experience in association management brings me great happiness,” Perry said. “The dairy industry plays a vital role in feeding the world, and I have a deep appreciation for the industry and ADSA members who drive the growth and development of it.”
