Zoetis to supply USDA H5N1 vaccine stockpile

USDA awards Zoetis latest contract for vaccines for use against H5N1 avian influenza.

Zoetis Inc. announced that the U.S. Department of Agriculture has awarded the company its latest contract for vaccines that can be used against avian influenza.

The contract calls for 34.2 million doses of Avian Influenza Vaccine, H5N1 Subtype, Killed Virus* — valued at $3.42 million — to be delivered in 2016 and for another 34.2 million doses to be delivered in 2017.
