Zinpro partners to support European pig husbandry research

Zinpro Corp. announced its partnership with the Swine Innovation Centre (VIC) Sterksel, Wageningen UR's (University & Research) facility for pig farming research, located in the Netherlands.

Research at this international research facility focuses on the latest developments in animal nutrition, health, housing, welfare, climate control and feeding systems, manure processing, sustainable energy applications and barn construction.

Zinpro's partnership with VIC Sterksel is part of a long-term commitment to support research and scientific advancements within the swine industry that help producers improve animal performance within their operations. Since 2010, Zinpro has been working with VIC Sterksel in support of numerous swine research projects. For several years, Zinpro has also hosted annual workshops for its Feet First swine lameness prevention program at VIC Sterksel as part of the company's commitment to help educate the swine industry on improved swine husbandry practices, including swine lameness prevention techniques.
