Wheat markets up 2% after cold weather hits Plains: Podcast

Corn and soybeans inch higher as planting report is due later this week.

Winter wheat futures rose more than 2% early Monday after weather reports said temperatures dropped into the 20s°F over the weekend in parts of the central Plains wheat areas.

Corn and soybeans were up a penny or two ahead of the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s planting report, due out Thursday.
