Wetjen to step down from CFTC

COMMISSIONER Mark P. Wetjen plans to step down from the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) at the end of August.

Wetjen's career at CFTC started when he was unanimously confirmed in the Senate in October 2011 and included a stint as acting chairman from January to June 2014 until current chairman Timothy Massad was confirmed.

During his tenure as commissioner, Wetjen helped implement the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Refor
