WEEKLY EXPORT REPORT: Corn, soybean, wheat sales decline

Corn sales miss forecast, while soybeans and wheat match it.

Export sales of corn, soybeans and wheat for the week ended Sept. 8 were down from the previous week’s hefty numbers, but only corn missed trade forecasts.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s weekly report on Thursday said 2016-17 corn sales totaled 27.7 million bu. and were led by South Korea, Colombia and Chile. Nearly 831,000 bu. of the 2017-18 crop went to Mexico and Nicaragua.
