Vilsack, ag groups call for TPP action

AS the industry gears up to urge Congress to pass the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP), the main message from agricultural groups and Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack is that ratification of TPP will bring substantial benefits to the U.S. agriculture industry in the way of higher commodity prices, expanded market opportunities and uniformity in trade rules, while delaying action will be costly.
