USDA releases needs assessment report for beef study

NAHMS conducts needs assessment to determine critical information gaps related to industry of focus for next national study.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s National Animal Health Monitoring System (NAHMS) has released a report summarizing responses to an information needs assessment survey for its upcoming "Beef Cow-Calf 2017" study.

Prior to each national study, NAHMS conducts a needs assessment to determine critical information gaps related to the industry of focus for the next national study. NAHMS uses this information and information from other sources to set study objectives.
