USDA refining marketing facility rules

Public comments sought on USDA's proposed changes to livestock marketing facility regulations.

THE U.S. Department of Agriculture's Animal & Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) announced proposed changes to modernize livestock marketing facility regulations.

According to APHIS, the proposed updates and clarifications are a direct response to requests by state animal health officials, livestock marketing facility operators and cattle and bison producers.
