Undercover footage shows abuse at dairy farm

After reviewing video, dairy farm immediately closes operation and moves cows to safe dairies nearby.

THE New Mexico Livestock Board is investigating a southern New Mexico dairy after animal rights group Mercy for Animals (MFA) released an undercover video showing abusive animal handling practices.

The hidden-camera video recorded in August and September by MFA revealed workers whipping, kicking and punching cows. Also, the footage showed sick or injured animals being dragged with a tractor.
