Tyson Foods Inc. said its pepperoni plant in Jefferson, Wis., will officially close July 9. The closure, which will affect approximately 400 employees, will enable the company to use available production capacity at some of its other prepared foods facilities in an effort to improve the overall performance of its prepared foods business, the company said.
