Texas Tech wins $15m grant for vet college

Grant approved upon recommendation from Amarillo Economic Development Corp.; steering committee formed.

The Amarillo (Texas) City Council approved a $15 million grant Sept. 20 from the Amarillo Economic Development Corp. (AEDC) to the Texas Tech University System to support the establishment of a new College of Veterinary Medicine in Amarillo.
