Statistics group takes stand on P-value interpretation

American Statistical Assn. provides principles to improve conduct and interpretation of quantitative science.

The American Statistical Assn. (ASA) has released a "Statement on Statistical Significance & P-Values" with six principles underlying the proper use and interpretation of the P-value.

ASA said it released this guidance on P-values to improve the conduct and interpretation of quantitative science and to inform the growing emphasis on the reproducibility of scientific research. T
