State fuels up wellness game plan

California dairy producers activate Fuel Up to Play 60 with up to $200,000 in grant funding for schools.

DAIRY producers from the leading dairy state — California — are suiting up this school year to make healthy eating and physical activity an essential part of the wellness game plan for students in kindergarten through 12th grade.

The California Milk Advisory Board (CMAB), which represents more than 1,500 dairy families, is teaming up with the National Football League's (NFL) San Francisco 49ers to activate Fuel Up to Play 60 (FUTP 60) in California
