Soybeans lower for third straight session: Podcast

Corn is about a penny higher, and wheat futures are up.

Soybean futures were lower for the third straight session on Tuesday as the expected dry weather in the Midwest this week should aid the harvest. Iowa’s harvest may be slow to resume in many areas following the rain and flooding there.

In exports, the U.S. Department of Agriculture said China bought 4.4 million bu. of soybeans. This was the second daily soybean sale announced this week. The first sale went to unknown destinations.
