Soybeans higher after recent losses; corn flat: Podcast

Wheat markets drop due to large global supplies.

Soybeans were trading higher near midday on Tuesday as the market rebounded from recent losses. The gains were despite the U.S. Department of Agriculture late on Monday keeping the soybean crop rating unchanged at 71% good to excellent. Minor slippage in that rating had been expected after last week’s hot weather.

Corn was trading close to unchanged.

The wheat markets were lower as reports from Russia said the country's wheat harvest may be the largest in the post-Soviet era
