Soybeans drop following disappointing export sales: Podcast

Corn and wheat post modest gains following USDA export report.

Soybean futures were lower near midday on Thursday after the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s weekly export report showed lower-than-expected export sales for both old-crop and new-crop soybeans. Export sales were mostly neutral for corn and supportive to wheat.

A few dry days are in the forecast late this week in the Midwest, but the 6- to 10-day outlook (through May 17-21) favors
