Soybeans charge higher as hot weather looms: Podcast

Corn futures also higher after USDA raised export forecast.

Soybeans were up about 25 cents/bu. near midday Wednesday as hot weather that's expected later this month and in August could affect crop development and yields. Corn futures were about 12 cents/bu. higher after the U.S. Department of Agriculture raised its export forecast on Tuesday.

Wheat futures were higher, helped by corn and soybeans. USDA on Tuesday predicted a larger wheat crop this year but also raised its export estimate.
