Soybean lead crop markets higher as China buys: Podcast

Corn and wheat markets higher despite better weather forecasts.

Soybean futures were up about 9 cents at midday Friday to lead the crop markets higher. Rain in northern Argentina has damaged some of that crop, and more rain is forecasted during the next week.

Wheat futures were higher despite forecasts for beneficial rain over the weekend in the dry areas of the U.S. central and southern Plains.
