Senate Ag advances CFTC nominees

Approval sets the stage for a vote on the full Senate floor.

Sen. Pat Roberts (R., Kan.), chairman of the Senate Agriculture Committee, announced Wednesday that the committee favorably reported nominees Dr. Christopher Brummer and Brian Quintenz to serve as commissioners of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC).
