Senate advances reauthorization bills

DURING a business meeting Thursday morning, the Senate Agriculture Committee advanced reauthorization bills for livestock mandatory price reporting and the U.S. Grain Standards Act, both of which are set to expire at the end of the month.

Once the full Senate advances the bill, it will be sent back to the House for a vote ahead of the Sept. 30 expiration.

The Agriculture Reauthorizations Act of 2015 consists of three titles:
