Russia bans imports of U.S. ag products

Russia bans for one year a number of U.S. agricultural products, including beef, pork, fruits, vegetables, poultry, fish and dairy products.

RUSSIAN President Vladimir Putin announced Aug. 6 a one-year retaliatory ban on a significant number of U.S. agricultural products exported to Russia, including beef, pork, fruits, vegetables, poultry, fish and dairy products.

The ban also includes imports from the European Union, Canada, Australia and Norway. The full list of banned products was released Aug. 7.
