Software tools predict corn crop yield and optimize nutrient management.

Software tools that predict the acreage and yield of the U.S. corn crop at county, regional and multi-state scales and optimize in-season fertilizer nitrogen rates at the sub-field scale have been developed by two Purdue University agriculture experts.

J&H Consulting of West Lafayette LLC was co-founded by professor Brad Joern and applications analyst programmer Philip Hess, both in the department of agronomy of Purdue University College of Agriculture.
