Production estimates rise as diseases emerge

Recent crop tours and surveys suggest that the 2014 harvest may be even larger than USDA's August estimates.

AS crop tour and producer surveys continue to provide a glimpse of what the 2014 crop harvest could hold, estimates continue to increase as crop condition ratings remain mostly good/excellent and progress continues to advance at a decent pace.

Some experts, however, have warned that the impact of heavy rains and cooler temperatures may still take a toll on the crops.
