Pre-blended E15 coming to terminals

HWRT Oil first to offer pre-blended E15 fuel, which could rapidly open market for E15 in Midwest.

HWRT Oil Co. will become the first company in the U.S. to offer pre-blended E15 at the terminal level. The Renewable Fuels Assn. (RFA) called the development a “game changer” that can rapidly open the market for E15 — a fuel blend using 15% ethanol — in the Midwest.

Beginning Sept. 16, HWRT will include E15 in its slate of product offerings at terminals located in Hartford and Norris City, Ill.; North Little Rock, Ark., and Seymour, Ind.
